The simple metrics that make progress visible

Progress feels vague when nothing is measured. It becomes easier to manage when coach and client agree which signals matter for the goal.

Measure the inputs and the outputs

  • Session completion and consistency
  • Key lift numbers or rep quality
  • Conditioning benchmarks
  • Body composition, photos or measurements where relevant
  • Energy, sleep and recovery notes

The point is not to track everything. It is to track enough to make better decisions before momentum disappears.
